1946
  •  Establishment of the Państwowa Hurtownia Złomu we Wrocławiu.
1953
  • Founding of the state enterprise Rejonowa Zbiornica Złomu — Wrocław.
1959
  • Subordination of Rejonowa Zbiornica Złomu to Centrozłom – Centrala Gospodarki Złomem.
1969
  • Renaming of the enterprise to: Przedsiębiorstwo Przerobu Złomu Metali we Wrocławiu.
1998
  • Founding of the Little Bear (Niedźwiadek) sculpture on Wrocław’s Market Square.
  • Award for the company director in the 5th edition of the competition “Employer, Organizer of Safe Work in Lower Silesia in 1998”, granted by the Regional Labour Inspector in Wrocław.
2000
  • Receipt of the Quality Assurance System Certificate in accordance with ISO 9001 standards by RW TÜV Polska.
  • Renaming of the enterprise to: Przedsiębiorstwo Przerobu Złomu Metali Centrozłom Wrocław.
2001
  • Obtaining the Integrated Management System Certificate EQS from RW TÜV Polska, covering: Quality Assurance System per ISO 9001, Environmental Management System per ISO 14001, Occupational Health and Safety Management System per PN-N 18001.
2002
  • PPZM Centrozłom Wrocław, Oława branch, awarded the “Pantheon of Polish Ecology” prize under the patronage of the Minister of the Environment and the Director of the Polish Centre for Testing and Certification.
  • Joining the Western Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Wrocław.
2003
  • Certification of the Quality Management System per ISO 9001:2000.
  • Joining the “Car Recycling Forum” Association.
2004
  • Confirmation of validity of certificates: Environmental Management System per ISO 14001 and Occupational Health and Safety Management System per PN-N 18001.
  • Ranked first among the most profitable state-owned enterprises in Poland.
  • First place in the “Lower Silesian Quality Award 2003” competition.
2005
  • Ranked first among the most profitable state-owned enterprises in Poland.
2006
  • Opening of additional branches (in March in Głogów, in November in Gorzów Wielkopolski).
2007
  • Opening of the Construction Reinforcement Production Plant in Oława.
2008
  • Conversion of the State Enterprise into a sole-shareholder State Treasury company under the name CENTROZŁOM WROCŁAW S.A.
2010
  • Signing of an agreement for the sale of 85% of shares in CENTROZŁOM WROCŁAW S.A. to KGHM Ecoren S.A.
2017
  • Joining the Chamber of Non-Ferrous Metals and Recycling.
  • Joining the Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Scrap Metal Trading.
2026
  • 80th anniversary of the Company.
